Slow Down and Be Aware of Your Surroundings
This 2014 Dodge Avenger showed minimal body damage after being rear ended, but upon closer inspection of the rear suspension the driver side back lower trailing arm was bent. As you can see in the first picture there is an obvious difference in the shape of the oval on the right and the oval on the left. They are supposed to be identical.
On the rear passenger side a bad hub was found and replaced. Click on the image below to see the video for a little more detail on what a hub does and why it is important. After the lower trailing arm and hub were replaced a front and rear alignment were done to ensure proper alignment for all four tires is maintained.
