Burnett Electric brought us this 2000 Chevy 3500 work / fleet truck

Burnett Electric brought us this 2000 Chevy 3500 work / fleet truck as a prime example of the importance of fully checking your tires on a regular basis. As you can see in this close up photo the left side of the tread looks fine the right side of the tire is completely bald.

As the weather continues to worsen and the roads get wet and icy, this could have been an accident waiting to happen!

AYRES Muffler Brake and Alignment’s certified technicians took the front end apart to diagnose the cause of this unusual wear and found multiple loose parts in the front end. Our car care technicians also noted the front brakes were at 1/32 which is almost steel on steel. After, AYRES Muffler Brake and Alignment front end specialist explained all of his concerns to the customer, the customer decided to have us do an alignment, replace both front tires and the brakes.

If you have a fleet of vehicles or just your daily commuter and you don’t remember the last time your tires were rotated or just want to feel a little safer on the roads as the weather continues to get colder, call AYRES Muffler Brake and Alignment for an appointment today.
